Annotate it! Geography

Oliver’s workshop is ideal for geographical and historical fact finding field trips. Participants are encouraged to create a series of annotated notes directly in the location of special interest. This drawing and note taking activity called “Grid-ing” enables individuals to capture everything and anything, abstract or fact, in such a way that each “Grid-er” goes home with something informative and personally memorable. Ideal for students who need to learn on the go and then later recall and present.

This big picture mapping approach – gathering information in real time – enables the student to capture more of the overall experience as well as the details. Students will gain skills for the rest of their studies.

This workshop runs 2 – 3 hours and is suitable for all ages and any sized group. Download more detailed information about this workshop here.

£15/student or £12/student for groups of 30+
